We are Strikers Taekwondo.
We run taekwondo classes in Portsmouth and Southsea for all ages and abilities.
Strikers uses traditional martial arts training and modern coaching practices to ensure you get the most out of your time training with us.
Joining Strikers can help you improve your fitness, build your confidence and meet new people.
We work closely with the National Martial Arts Committee of Great Britain, who officiate our gradings.
Our classes started in 2016. Since then, our students have attended gradings, won competitions and made friends for life.
Our Instructor
Jack is an NMAC-GB 4th Dan black belt and BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science graduate.
Jack founded Strikers Taekwondo in 2016 and has 15 years of taekwondo experience.
Jack holds multiple competition wins and podium places including a gold at the 2011 European games, 2 bronze and 2 gold medals at the World Martial Arts Games in 2012, and 3 bronze medals from the World Martial Arts Games 2013. After a break from competing, Jack earned 2 golds and 2 silvers in the 2019 South of England Competition Series.
Jack holds an NMAC-GB endorsed coaching certificate, a First Aid in Sport qualification from St John’s Ambulance, an NSPCC safeguarding certificate and a World Martial Arts Committee recognised coaching certificate.
